Who could guess my Hong Kie friend here who happen to be one of the first few friends I truly connected with of whom we do share the same values. It was a blessing to find that commonality.

aha.. and at the last moment I meet Singaporians. This one here is dear to me, wish time was mine to have I would love to know her more and develop a friendship that I had with the rest.

I say that I was SUPER SCARED when I climb this rock, SMIth Rock.

Thought I was going to die or something. It is NOTHING like the indoor climbing gym. NOTHING.

YOu can't see the next choice of rock ahead of you. You only have tiny little parts of the rock jutting out for you to step on and put your WHOLE weight on to trust it and climb up.

As I held on to my camera and looking for things to take then my lens show upon the screen the keys you see everyday on your computer. Those very keys made me think about the things God has spoken to me.
I realize that, yes God is in control, He is more than enough but in our lives we always have that option/alternate button and have been pressing on it.
To live out and experience God's promises and the blessings that comes with it means to obey His very command.
Am I still pressing the option key?
Maybe it's time to press the command key :)

There they are the Emeralds!! Go Eugene. OH.... that bear can dance, almost got a picture with the bear but he went after a lady selling beer. should have bought one and entice him over.

Here it is the baseball stadium, its bigger than what I see on TV. I never taught that the pitcher was so far away, really takes a lot to throw the ball. Gosh, the ball travels super FAST. As Andy said like 90m/h and as a batter you have a matter of seconds to decide if you're gonna take the swing. Being an umpire is crazy also... sAFE!!no... oUT...

Here we are, all american past time with friends. Love the colour of the sky.

So the game lasted from 7-10+pm, it was fun least I had my ice-cream and see some home-run and close homerun when the players were merely on 3rd base.

Hit and Run... run Forrest run ( that was random). Love it when they slide on the sand and all the dust will fly. Then you see the umpire sweeping the base plates, hehehe...Reminds me of chicken little.

At the end, I had 3 baseball hats/ice-cream cups for souvenirs, and no I didn't eat 3 cups of ice-cream the serving was humongous.

At the wake of day, Mr FedEx came to my door step with this long awaited book.

It just made my day and then off I went to explore the odds and ends of Eugene

So to Begin We will start with EUgene Saturday Market

I was captured by the smell of lavender. The smell was ... breath taking, bees were enjoying them

The you have music, you never see the same kind of guitar there are small, metal, tiny and big guitars

Somehow in every market... you have the balloon man!

This I find most fascinating. A practical real live version of the game of life. You have the booth there and you can choose to play it. I should try it one day.

Then you have... two Malaysian. They are very rare.

Ahah... then I went into a store at a mall and found that it was a hunting store, where you buy guns, rifles, sniper, knives, bullets and more.

but all in all my life and i believe everyone from global friend received a lifechanging experience.
reconciled ourselves to solidarity. there was prayers and cries for change.

as repetative as Mika could ever be i will always remember her say

well... it's been crazy week for me
i packed myself with activities that i completely lost myself
being in control
wht are my responsibility
once i start goin online
i can't stop surfing

first off youth of the city along with modern dance technique dance workshop
i've learnt' so much from these 2 activities
YOTC-how to manage a program
dance-how to dance and learning to dance through self expresssion
i thut i was in for a hip-hop class but it wasn't, it was 'contemparory' dance
with a little ballet moves in them, whole body ache after the workshop
i've learnt how to move by myself in the way i feel like moving and being creative in movements
hopefully can put them to use in church :P after all the aches and bruises.

this is my prayer team.. we went to subang utama to pray over the school.
parents were invited to come along
you can never imagine the power of prayer and the acceleration of support parents can give
as they pray WITH the youth instead of for the youth
i also went KLPAC to watch sound of silent dreams

this is grace and dine.. well all the girls were in the hoodie craze mood so she is one of them

Although my discourse analysis paper is over. I've come to realize that knowledge can help a person see more and help in maturing a person with that knowledge to make good and rational decisions.
Thomas (2000,2004) a researcher has look into how girls create their desired fantasy identities online. This is done within the power of language, in how they convey and express themselves. It is possible to fake what you are online because no one can see you in person.
This holiday I've been online so much and chatting with friends on MSN. Slowly, I've come to discover myself succumbed to this matter. It's freaky to realize this. A few days ago I met someone who is sick of 'pretenders' in his college. I press to find out why he meant by that. Then I realize that they basically weren't true friends.
Is it possible that in this world of advanced technology people are crippled to create a real identity of themselves. Identites based on good godly principles and values. Everyone wants to be someone, the question is who. As I was watching E! tv, there's a girl who worships Christina Arguilera and she happens to be one of the pussycat dolls. In her endeavour of building her career she begins to realize how silly she was to want to be so much like Christina Arguilera that she miss out being her. Someone original that will freshly attract people to notice you for who you are, different and confident.
My identity. I thank God, that I know my creator. I'm made in His image. In spirit, that is where i should build myself, my spirit man. There's a whole book to build this identity :)

i went to visit valerie...and took this cute lil photo of petra.

TODAY... i tried to bake gingerbread man

i was really keen about it but i couldn't find molasses(i dunno wht tht is)

the beginning was great

the batter looked smooth and yummy

mum replaced molasses for brown sugar

after putting dough into fridge and shaping

i sweat and worked to shape the gingerbread man to look like this

as it went into the oven it looked like this
WAH!!! so DEPRESSING

but superMummy saved the day

savaged the cookie to look decent once more

i didn't get to go to the beach i was in the car the whole time and in the restaurant.

well hello LA,
i din't really like LA the people aren't as homei as portland :( but i did enjoy myself especially at universal studio and a lil at hollywood walk thats because had uncle weng and aunt traci to come along and teman us :)
this was at the restaurant called bubba gump co. and they sell shrimps i was totally caught by it when i was walking along the street looking a place to eat because this restaurant is inspired by the show called forrest gump. nice show.

this is disneyland along the hollywood corner after the great aladdin musical show. the ginie was as funy as he should
mummy on the fairies wheel she got con into the ride thinking it just a mild one but it was NOT TRUE
MUAHAHAHA .... I LIL' gliding here and there
we spent some time at the the tonight show with jay leno wow.. we had robin wiliams in the house along with tenesse williams to publicize the ironman show. it an eyeopener. u can see all the flaws whent u see it on tv its a diff thing hehehe..when commercials are on the musicians will play.

uncle weng was really tryin my skills when i could hardly stop he led me and aunt traci to a steep hill. then aunty traci went"are you crazy she just learn to stop just 2 minutes ago" we were stranded at the top for awhile then i decided there's no way out. i fell alot. almost did a 'yard sa;e' tht is when u fall and all the things on you fall to diff directions. hahaha i enjoyed falling. but the ice was a lil slushy sigh like 7-11 slurpee.

it all started with the 5 seniors havin to put on their beautiful barney party hats

they are... B2, gmail, 180, boon boon, yune,

they went for a car ride down the highway and byway

tingtong!! arrival at my home

all blindfolded the 5 blind mice marched in line throught the door and was seated

seated in front of the very their own hand made photo frame by the best artist-Jessica kan

with their photo and a lil note by the gifted hands-elisha menon

food was served, wow we were all hungry

well before the 5 blind mice marched in me and b2 were fetchin Hwei su

well we had an episode of 'missing su'

great oppurtunity can open for me to enrich a persons day one coffee at a time

so i did call them 'dum dum'

but after teaching them for the past few weeks..

a up and down adventure.

mixed emotion.

one minute i'm all sstressed up and angry !! great despair!!on the verge of a heart attack

!!one minute i just can't help but smile and laugh watchin them.making my day fun and warm

.i never expected it all to end so fast and SUDDEN.couldn't say a proper goodbye to all of them.tell them how special and unique EACH OF THEM ARE.

this road i trod upon i will no longer return.indeed one should make the best out of the season and time given as the oppurtunity was given.

i've did what i've done , said wht i had to say

my dream and desire to be a teacher i will bring it to pass one day

not just a teacher but an educator

helping my student to be man and women of substance and character.

not everything is about grades

i miss them so much my students of 2D and 2T and especially 1T

no one to open the door for me when i leave the classroom or run the field with

no one to make me really angry and still learn to love them as God would

and gives so many second chance.

what is beyond the sky?
pass the stars, the moon
feeling the chills down your back
as you stretch out
then.... what can you see?
even if u have come close to the sky
touched the clouds
indeed i would stand in awe
why do movies have villians who desire to be gods?
so wht if one achieve that.
how far can justice be accomplished.
there is already a God who knows best.
the desire to reach for the skies
and the thought if one reached
the place where the sun rise and set
i stand in awe
what i'm reachin to touch is created by my Creator
my superhero
Jesus Christ
my hero lives in me..

Friends are not for us to keep

wow.. this day has been memorable for me.

i remembered eng kok once said tht it is impossible to keep a friendship.

i always held on tight to one friend really dear to me.

i couldn't let go of her till last year.

i wanted so badly to keep tht friendship.

so badly to keep her, wanting to spend time with her

as it were when i was in assunta.

it was to an extend of hurtin a dear friend God gave me when i went to another school.

i now realize, friends aren't meant to be kept, love is not meant to be held on.

i also learn to be quick to understand slow to judge.

this can stop loads of heartache and fights

friends are for me to touch their heart , encourage and walk with them as our path collide

share Jesus with them, create moments of sweet remininscence.

make out the times we have fun, laughter, tears, dissapointment, silence.

also the Love of God shared between one another.agape love.

when the path soon split

we go separate ways

we may not have anything in common in life anymore.

But God will always be the thing we'll have in common.

His love , our passion for Him.

year in year out... christmas presents comes frm a joy to a headache

wht to get..woa!! the cost.

sweat and hassle of wrapping and purchasing

BUT

the most incredible gift of all is Jesus.

He's the reason for the season!

put aside the gift i rmbr the Giver.

He gave the most precious gift of all on earth

to be my companion, thru' thick and thin

my family, my friends.

my mum who supported me like a strong pillar and a loyal teacher

constantly reminding me to be FOCUS as i battle thru my stpm.

also my dear brother andrew..the battle belongs to the Lord
